BioAcoustics Sound Therapy Frequently Asked Questions

What steps would I need to follow to receive a voice analysis?
The software program that we can use to start looking at personality and emotional or relationship issues for you is called nVoice. This can easily be done over the phone. We would record your voice directly into the software program via phone. The nVoice analysis is $50 and includes a personality report that is then emailed to you. Click to read more about nVoice Personality Profile

If certain octaves show up or are missing in your voice according to the computer and you'd like to investigate further, we can use an advanced software program to look at specific personalized frequencies in your voice. This analysis is $85 per hour. Click to read more about In-depth BioAcoustic Research Evaluations and Sound Presentation

Will BA help me?
There can be no promise of a cure, in person or from a distance.  Someday that may be possible but right now we can only provide frequency based information designed to support SELF HEALTH. Practitioners are not medical professionals and are not licensed to diagnose or prescribe."
As a research associate, we follow the Bioacoustic Sound Therapy protocol designed by Sharry Edwards, Director of Sound Health Institute.
We don't know if it will help you. As you know, it has helped many others but we can't promise as outcome because we don't know for sure. There are tones that have been found to be associated with the frequency equivelants of muscles, biochemicals, genomes, vitamins, minerals, toxins, pathogens, etc. We can look for these in your vocal print which can be taken over the phone. However, finding these frequencies in your vocal print is one thing and then supporting them with sound is another. Because we must conduct tone trials in person, it would be easiest for you to find a bioacoustic researcher close to you. You can find a list at http://www.sharryedwards.com/ under the "info" tab - then "find a practitioner". You can also go to http://nutrasounds.com/_wsn/page3.html

I am trying to locate a certified research associate for BioAcoustics who is in my area.
At http://www.sharryedwards.com/info you'll see at the top of the page "find a practitioner" with a list of all the current practitioners.

Can this be done over the phone or do I need to see someone in person?
Voice recordings are easily done over the phone using the Gentner Equipment. We can record your voice via phone and load it into the various software programs to generate a report for you. If you have chosen the In-depth BioAcoustic Research Evaluations and Sound Presentation, tone trials will take place in person.

I am interested in the consumer products, but also potentially in more targeted treatment and involvement.

I am very interested in BioAcoustic therapy and would like to join your team to learn more about this.
Sharry Edwards gives classes in BioAcoustics and is located in Ohio. All practitioners are trained at her facility. For information please see http://www.sharryedwards.com

Does the BioAcoustics research indicate efficacy with a correction for lung cancer?
People have used Bioacoustics in combination with other measures to deal with cancer - nutrition, herbs, energy medicine, visualization, etc.

Been researching your information. Have a few questions.... cost, do you have something closer than CA?
If you paste this web address in your browser, you will find Bioacoustics practitioners in different areas around the world http://sharryedwards.com/info.html

If you'd like to investigate further, we can use advanced programs to look at specific frequencies. This analysis is $85 per hour. From that point, if you'd like to progress to sound presentation (listening to the sounds) you can either purchase a Square 2 tone box.

I would like to know where you are located and a little more about your practice.
Here's a link if you'd like to visit my website http://www.bioacousticsforsoundhealth.com

WHAT DOES THE LITTLE BLACK BOX DO ? WHAT I MEAN DOES IT COVER ALL THE SOUNDS NEEDED TO HEAL OR DO YOU HAVE TO PROVIDE A SAMPLE OF YOUR VOICE TO SET IT UP FOR YOUR USE.
Here's a link to paste in your browser for more information about the "Little BACK Box" a tone generator with preset tones to support back health. http://www.nvoice.org
In using the Little Back Box for supporting the health of your back, you'd just listen to it with headphones. No voice sample is required and these are universal tones rather than personalized.

I saw your website and wish I found it two weeks ago when I was in South Lake Tahoe. But I am currently in  Redding, Ca and wonder if you know of anyone in this area who does voice profiling and the work you do? Or do you offer services over the phone. I am interested in getting my own profile and learning more about the system.
Yes, we can do some of the voice work over the phone, but tone trials must be done in person.

I have a friend who lives near you with adult onset diabetes. Are you able to help this condition? How much is a session and what times are available?
As a BioAcoustics Research Associate I'm able to record voice samples and use the software programs developed by Sharry Edwards to support the body's natural patterns of health. It's not meant to replace medical practice and we're not medical practitioners. By supporting the body in this way some conditions have changed.
We can't promise that it will help your friend with diabetes - we can just try it and see what happens.
Our rate is $85 per hour and it usually takes 2 hours to complete a session. Once we've determined the tones for your friend to listen to, they will need to buy a Square 2 Tone Box from Sound Health Inc. because they need to continue to listen to these sounds several times a day for awhile.

What froms of payment do you accept?
We accept check, money order, cash and Paypal. You don't need a paypal account to do pay with paypal.

I am interested in the Square2 Tone Box $425 How can I find out more about it?
Square 2 Tone boxes are used for sound presentation during an In-depth BioAcoustic Research Evaluations. Only certified Bioacoustic Sound Therapy Providers are able to program these tone boxes for you.
You can find out more about the Square 2 Tone Box by calling Sound Health Inc at 740-698-9119.

Do you happen to have a news letter that you send out.
An online publication is http://www.jbab.org/

I would like to talk to someone about getting tested.  How do I go about finding out how, where and the cost.
We can begin by working via phone recording, email and mail. First I'll send you a few forms to fill out - intake form, informed consent, etc, and ask you to email these to me once you've completed them.

Next, we'll arrange a time we can talk on the phone and record a few samples of your voice. I then analyze these recordings using the Bioacoustics software and design sound sound formulas for you to test.

We then set a time to meet and do tone trials, testing the sound formulas while monitoring your reactions with biofeedback equipment.

Based on the results of your tone trials, I'll program your Square 2 tone box for you to listen to for a few weeks - until we agree that it's time for a reassessment or until your symptoms no longer exist.

You'll need to purchase a Square 2 tone box from Sound Health Inc. Call them for pricing 740-698-9119

The cost for an In-depth BioAcoustic Research Evaluations and Sound Presentation is $85 per hour. Initial analysis usually requires 2 hours. Tone trials and setting up the tone box generally requires an additional hour.

Reassessments require the same amount of time and are the same cost.  The common procedure is to have a reassessment when:
you no longer likes the sounds on your tone box- when the sounds become irritating it indicates that your system has
entrained to the sounds, no longer needs them, and is ready to move on to another level.

If the issue is resolved there is no need for reassessment.

Can you treat diseases like cancer, diabetes, etc?
No.  A medical diagnosis can only be made by a licensed medical professional. Each state has a Medical Practices Act that outlaws the practice of medicine by anyone except a licensed MD.  "Diagnosis" is one of the things in the statute reserved strictly to medical licensees.

Our disclaimer explains: Human BioAcoustics, as originated by Sharry Edwards, M.Ed., does not diagnose or prescribe for medical or psychological conditions nor does it claim to prevent, treat, mitigate or cure such conditions.  HBA researchers do not provide diagnosis, care, treatment or rehabilitation of individuals, nor apply medical, mental health or human development principles.

Bioacoustics also does not treat disease. Diagnosis and treatment are not within the scope of Bioacoustic Sound Therapy providers and we need to refer you to a physician if you need a diagnosis or medical treatment.

Our certification as a BioAcoustic Sound Therapy Research Associate and Provider does qualify us to evaluate the frequencies in your voice, conduct research to explore sound formulas that might affect the coherence of voice frequencies, collect and analyze data. Based on previous independent research, certain architectures may relate to pathogens, inflammations, muscle trauma, stressed biochemical cascades, etc. Large scale funding for Randomized
Controlled Studies to test this hypothesis are sorely needed. Until then, private independent research with participants such as you will help to lay the ground work for further research.

We're not licensed to use a voice print to diagnose a medical condition nor to use sounds to treat disease. You'll need to consult a doctor for any medical diagnosis and disease treatment. If you'd like to work on bringing greater
coherence to the frequencies in your voice and explore what health benefits that might have - that would be within our scope of practice.
