Bioacoustic Therapy Case Study: TMJ, dizziness, allergy, and asthma, tinnitus, and cataracts |

Bioacoustic Sound Therapy exploratory case studies, fieldwork, and data collection research follows a framework of predetermined protocols which provide a systematized way of looking at events, collecting data, analyzing information, and reporting the results. In this case study, client reported issues with dizziness allergy, and asthma. |
Abstract |
A 62 year old female reported issues with dizziness allergy, and asthma. Client has been diagnosed by physicians with allergies to mold, asthma, and dizziness due to an inner ear condition. Allergy and asthma have been ongoing for several years; dizziness started September 2008. To manage her issues, she has used medications, ear candling, acupuncture, and chiropractic treatments. She also has a history of TMJ, tinnitus, cataracts, and arthritis. Client suspects that TMJ developed from an incident in childhood when her mother was drunk and hit her full force on the right jaw and ear. |
Medications she is currently taking: |
Bioacoustic Therapy voice assessment was performed 9/23/08 by phone recording with Gentner Microtel Telephone Audio Mini Mixer linked to a computer while client used a landline without filters. Results were analyzed using Abacus, Gen Pro, Svani, Matrix and SST to determine appropriate sound formulas for sound presentation (aka tone trials). |
Voice analysis revealed primary harmonic issues to be with frequency equivalents of Masseter muscle (jaw), Temporalis muscle, 5th chakra (thyroid gland, clairaudience and ears, hyoid muscles), thyroid hormone T3, and cataract genome. |
The 5th chakra is an energy center in the throat area, and is associated with the thyroid gland. This chakra includes channels to 2 smaller chakras located near the foramen formed by the temporal and mandible bones of the jaw. Muscles that move these bones are the Temporalis and Masseter - muscles involved in the Tempromandibular joint, or TMJ, Syndrome. TMJ disorders include migraine headaches, sinus headaches, popping jaw joints when eating and/or yawning, stiff neck and shoulders, tingly fingers, low back pain, frequent dizzy spells, and light-headedness. Over-activity of the jaw can also make ear canals sensitive. |
Frequency equivalents of medications in the voice suggested that medications did not appear to be well tolerated, and associations between medications and Bioacoustic Therapy frequency equivalents (FEs) of TMJ muscles were remarkable: |
Advair is a combination of Fluticasone Propionate and Salmeterol Inhalation Powder. |
The sound formulas for Zyrtec yield the FE of both TMJ muscles – the average is masseter and distance is the reciprocal of temporalis. |
The FE of Aleve is the same FE as Masseter. |
The Bioacoustics Therapy Matrix program identified Obicularis oris (mouth) as the root cause with very direct harmonic relationships to frequency equivalent issues found in the voice sample: Temporalis, Mylohyoid (inferior jaw), Longus colli (neck), C6 (governs neck muscles, croup and cough), C3 (governs face bones, teeth, cheeks, and outer ear), and T5 – the reciprocal of C6. |
Sound formulas were constructed based on the frequencies found in the voice, and selected for presentation based on biofeedback results measured during tone trials. |
Frequency equivalent formulas selected for sound presentation via analogue Square 2 tone box were: |
SST formulas based on the Matrix: Temporalis, Mylohyoid (inferior jaw), Longus colli (neck), C6 (governs neck muscles, croup and cough), C3 (governs face bones, teeth, cheeks, and outer ear), and T5 – the reciprocal of C6. |
20 sounds were selected and played for 30 seconds each. This playlist ran for 10 min and repeated 2ice for a total of 20 minutes. Client listened to these sounds twice per day. |
Additionally, we suggested that the client perform self massage on the Masseter muscle and Tempromandibular joint, and alternate hot and cold compresses to the area. |
Follow up: |
12/10/08 Client was very comfortable and remained symptom free for 2 months – no dizziness, asthma attacks, or arthritis. Then on 12/6/08 her equilibrium issue returned along with pressure in her head and achiness. Her physician diagnosed a sinus condition. She chose to start listening to the sounds again. |
Discussion: |
Presenting tiered formulas for Masseter, recip, and eye lens, client wanted 1:2 ratio and 1:4 ratio of each – indicating an environmental / outside influence issue and connective tissue issue for all. |
SST formulas were especially well received. |
