Bioacoustic Theapy Case Study: Heart Palpations and Arrhythmia, Adrenal Fatigue, Thyroid Issues

9/11/2007

Bioacoustic Sound Therapy exploratory case studies, fieldwork, and data collection research follows a framework of predetermined protocols which provide a systematized way of looking at events, collecting data, analyzing information, and reporting the results. In this case study, client reported heart palpations and arrhythmia, adrenal fatigue, and thyroid issues.

Abstract

A 65 year old female was an elite athlete who regularly swam for hours. In 2002 she “got sick” and could no longer exercise as she was used to. She suffered from anxiety and extreme fatigue describing that 2 days after a busy day she “hits a wall” – shakes, crashes, and can’t talk. She experienced nightly heart issues, waking up at 4am every morning with heart pounding, racing and unable to breathe which often caused her to rush to the hospital emergency room. She stated that she has “had every type of medical test” and been diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. Doctors prescribed levothyroxine sodium to supplement T4 and suppress TSH.
Interestingly, the literature states “overtreatment with levothyroxine sodium may have adverse cardiovascular effects such as an increase in heart rate, cardiac wall thickness, and cardiac contractility and may precipitate angina or arrhythmias.” Possible side effects listed are: rapid or irregular heartbeat, chest pain, shortness of breath, nervousness, irritability, sleeplessness, and tremors.
Bioacoustic therapy voice analysis indicated issues with the frequency equivalents (FE) of:
A biochemical known to be important with energy production and associated with “crashes”
Serotonin
Vitamin C
Helicobacter pylori which the literature states may cause Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis
Adrenal medulla organ which produces adrenaline and may account for energy crashes. (In the adrenal medulla, tyrosine is converted to adrenaline, noradrenaline, and dopamine. These biochemicals are released into the blood in response to stressors such as exercise or imminent danger. Notable effects of adrenaline and noradrenaline include her nightly symptoms - increased heart rate and blood pressure, blood vessel constriction, bronchiole dilation, and increased metabolism.)
Thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH), which controls thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) which stimulates the thyroid gland to secrete T4 and T3.
TRH receptor
serine racemase – enzyme that converts L-serine to D-serine, the signaling molecule that activates NMDA receptors in the brain which contributes to excitatory synaptic transmission at sites throughout the brain and the spinal cord

The FEs of TRH and TRH-R were clearly in stress.

When the match between hormone and receptor was loaded into the Bioacoustic Therapy Svani software program, it an important matrix relationship was indicated.

Tone trials were conducted 9/11/07.
13 formulas were programmed into a Square2 tone box. Each sound formula played for 30 sec. This set repeated 3X for a total of 19.5 min. Because she was very sensitive to sound, it was agreed that she would only listen to these tones once/day.

Follow up:
Thurs 9/20/07 Client reported that on the first evening after listening to her tone box - all her nightly heart palpitations went away and did not returned. She felt good, not fatigued, and hasn’t felt anxiety. She had a very long active day and reported that if she was going to “crash” as usual, it would happen within 2 days. She asked if she may listen to the box 2ice a day rather than just once.

Saturday 9/22/07 Client reported that so far she still feels good – has not crashed as usual. In fact she feels so good that she will start a 10 minute exercise program and see how it goes.

12/23/2008 Client wrote
“When you and I first spoke earlier this year I had been feeling ill for at least four years.  Although I
was doing a little bit better I was still struggling.  My symptoms were as follows:  frightening heart
palpitations (irregular rapid beating of the heart) and was having a hard time breathing.  I ended up in the emergency room many times only to be told I was having panic attacks generated by a thyroid condition.  Working with an endocrinologist we tried many thyroid medications and dosages to not much avail.  In the meantime the auto immune side effects caused my gall bladder, eyes, and hands to be affected.  After using Bioacoustic Sound Therapy, up to this date (12/23/2007) I have no longer had any heart palpitations, my thyroid TSH blood test is now within the normal range, my breathing appears normal.

Since I spoke to you I have started exercising.  Exercise seems to be working so far."
